After tendering with two other companies, Premier Lifts
were given the contract to refurbish the lift at a multi-tenant office
building on the Tottenham Court Road. Managing director, Nick Lazari of
Lazari Investments Ltd says that we were chosen mainly on pricing but
having worked with us on an earlier project, we were seen to have responded
well to problems that had occurred.
Nick Lazari: "The programme for the refurbishment
was of prime importance. The lift was going to be out of action for four
weeks, requiring tenants to walk up the stairs. Premier Lifts stuck rigidly
to the programme, working weekends to complete the noisy work and minimise
disturbance.
"The care taken by the engineering team to carry
out the work with the minimum of disruption to tenants and according to
schedule was highly valued.

"It was a substantial refurbishment job with three-quarters
of the lift being replaced. However there were no problems and it all
went very smoothly as did the handover.
"Furthermore, the final price was the same as that
given in the contract - there were no hidden extras".
Premier Lifts then followed this contract with two more
projects running on two more buildings and a fully comprehensive maintenance
contract has been awarded to Premier Lifts.

and in the long term.
